Before you register, please have the following documents ready in PDF, PNG, or JPG format:

  • University entrance qualification certificate
  • A copy of your ID
  • Further evidence if you have professional experience (e.g. CV, professional qualification)

The bachelor's program is not subject to a numerus clausus. The registration period for the summer semester runs from November 17, 2025, to February 28, 2026.  

The THGA is a state-recognized university. There are no tuition fees – only a semester fee is charged, which includes the “Deutschland-Ticket”. 

Everything ready? Then let's get started:

1. Start your online registration

Visit meine.thga.de and enter your name, personal details and contact information. Choose your password.

2. Confirm your registration

You will receive an email with a registration link. Click on the link and follow the instructions to activate your account.

3. Log in to the university portal

Log in to the university portal and start entering your details. If you need to take a break, all your information will be saved automatically so that you can continue later.

4. Upload documents

Upload the required documents as PDF, PNG or JPG: usually these are your university entrance qualification (e.g. high school diploma), if you have professional experience: your CV, language certificates (for international applicants), a copy of your ID and a certificate of exmatriculation (if you were previously enrolled at another university).

5. Follow the instructions in the portal

Use the “i” help function and the “Enrollment Information” section directly in the university portal to ensure that you complete all steps correctly.

6. Submit your application for enrollment

Have you uploaded everything? Then simply submit your application for enrollment via the portal! Don't have all your documents ready yet? You can still send us all your details and documents. Any missing documents can be submitted within the application period at info@thga.de. Our Admissions and examinations office will contact you in any case.

We will review your documents. If anything is missing or we have any questions, we will contact you. If everything is in order, you will be admitted to study with us. We will then contact you to request payment of the semester fee and ask you to forward the sender number (H0001331) to your health insurance company.  

Then comes the most important step: after your admission, you have to enroll at meine.thga.de! Everything is digital and there is no paperwork involved. If you have any questions, our colleagues at the Admissions and examinations office will be happy to help. We look forward to seeing you.
