Forstering International Talents

With the FIT@THGA programme, we are committed to our international students. We support them with customised offers along their entire qualification pathway to help them succeed in their studies and subsequently find a career in Germany. To this end, we also liaise closely with companies that are urgently looking for these skilled workers.

Comprehensive offerRecruitment of international young professionals to the THGA

Our FIT@THGA project team enables international prospective students to make the transition to a degree programme at the Georg Agricola University of Applied Sciences (THGA). To this end, it travels to study information fairs throughout Germany and advises international talent on the wide range of study opportunities at the THGA. At the same time, it promotes the Ruhr metropolitan region and its corporate landscape, which offers a wide range of career options.

In order to prepare international students for the transition from their studies to the German labour market, we offer practical experience, coaching programmes and support the development of professional skills. The smooth transfer of responsibilities during the student life cycle from the ‘Study Preparation and Success Assurance’ advice centre to the ‘Employability and Labour Market Integration’ advice centre means that talented international students always have someone at their side until the end of their studies who can respond to their individual needs.
