Finding a place to stay

Like anywhere else in Germany, affordable rooms and flats are not that easy to get in Bochum either. If you want to move into your own place, start flat-hunting soon, possibly right after you have enrolled. Make sure you find information in time and act on it. You need a bit of luck and patience to find suitable and affordable accommodation.

The single rooms and two-room apartments can be rented for up to 4.5 years; apartments/flats can also be shared.
