Studying AbroadDiscover new horizons

A semester abroad offers far more than just academic qualifications – it opens up new perspectives and shapes you through everyday experiences in different cultures and languages. These moments often stay with you for a lifetime and help you develop skills you might never gain otherwise.

If you prefer not to spend an entire study period abroad, a work placement overseas is an excellent alternative. Within a shorter timeframe, you can gain valuable practical experience, learn about international working methods and build a network that spans borders.

Whether it’s a semester or a placement abroad, we encourage every student to plan an international experience. It broadens your horizons, strengthens your confidence and opens doors for your personal and professional future.

The International Office advises and supports all students interested in studying abroad. We provide information on scholarship and funding programmes, which opportunities you have, how you can do your practical semester abroad and qualify in an internship. In addition, we also stablish the first contact with our partner universities abroad. THGA is also a member of the EU programme Erasmus+.
