Dates and deadlines

Here you will find all the important dates relevant to your studies.

The THGA Presidium has set the examination periods. Please note that examinations may overlap. In these exceptional cases, the examinations are to be split between both examination dates. We kindly ask you to take this into account in your planning.

Please note: The two examination dates are offered to simplify planning and organisation; there is no entitlement to repeat missed or failed examinations from the previous date on the subsequent date.

Cancellations of examinations remain possible beyond the registration period up to one week before the respective examination as well as for important reasons (please note that for the calculation of the cancellation deadline, the date in the portal with the time is taken into account, i.e. the cancellation must be made one week before the stated start of the examination).

Oral exams also have fixed starting dates during the exam weeks. In your exam schedule, you will find the starting date and time; any other dates and times you will be informed upon by the examiners. If you want to de-register from an exam, the start date and time fixed by the examinations office is the binding deadline. This applies to all exam candidates.

* The examination period of the post-term for the summer semester is in the following winter semester and vice versa.
