Liebe Studierende,
die Stadt Bochum saniert aktuell die Herner Straße direkt vor unserer Hochschule. Damit ihr bis zum Baustellenende am 9. Juli ohne großen Stress zum Campus kommt, gibt es hier die wichtigsten Updates zu den Sperrungen und Erreichbarkeiten.
Das Wichtigste zuerst: Zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad kommt ihr weiterhin jederzeit ganz normal auf das Hochschulgelände und in alle Gebäude. Der Campus bleibt voll zugänglich!
Für alle, die mit dem Auto anreisen, gibt es allerdings Einschränkungen bei den Parkplätzen: Die gewohnte Zufahrt zu den THGA-Parkplätzen über den Georg-Agricola-Weg ist wegen der Baustelle für Autos gesperrt. Ihr könnt die Parkplätze von dieser Seite aus nicht anfahren. Nutzt bitte die Rückseite über die Dorstener Straße/Theo-Imberg-Straße.
Unser Tipp: Nutzt die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel
Mit der U-Bahn (U35) kommt ihr meist deutlich entspannter und ohne Stau-Frust am Campus an.

Dear students,
The City of Bochum is currently carrying out resurfacing works on Herner Straße, right in front of our university. To ensure you can get to campus without too much hassle until the works finish on 9 July, here are the key updates on road closures and access.
First things first: you can still access the university grounds and all buildings as normal at any time, whether on foot or by bike. The campus remains fully accessible!
However, for those travelling by car, there are restrictions on parking: the usual access to the THGA car parks via Georg-Agricola-Weg is closed to cars due to the roadworks. You cannot drive to the car parks from this side. Please use the rear entrance via Dorstener Straße/Theo-Imberg-Straße.
Our tip: Use public transport
You’ll usually reach the campus much more relaxed and without the frustration of traffic jams if you take the underground (U35).
