Liebe Studierende,
die THGA befindet sich aktuell in der Reakkreditierung. Das heißt: Alle Studiengänge und Studienstrukturen der Hochschule wurden in den letzten Monaten genau überprüft. Ziel ist es, unsere Studienangebote so weiterzuentwickeln, dass diese auch zukünftig den Anforderungen der Arbeitswelt, der Wissenschaft und Ihren Bedürfnissen als Studierende gerecht werden. Auch Unternehmen und Studierende wurden dazu befragt.
Natürlich sind dabei Veränderungen und Verbesserungen entstanden. Über diese entscheidet am 27. Mai der Senat der THGA – mit Beteiligung Ihre studentischen Vertreter:innen.
Im Oktober folgt der nächste Schritt: Eine unabhängige Agentur prüft unser Qualitätssicherungssystem. Wenn sie ihre Zustimmung gibt, dürfen alle geplanten Änderungen umgesetzt werden.
Was ändert sich für Sie?
- Einige Studiengänge bekommen neue Namen und Inhalte.
- Es werden neue Module eingeführt.
- Auch laufende Studienverläufe können betroffen sein.

Reaccreditation at THGA: What’s happening with my study programme?
Dear students,
THGA is currently undergoing a re-accreditation process. This means that all study programmes and academic structures have been thoroughly reviewed over the past few months. The goal is to ensure that our programmes continue to meet the demands of the professional world, academic standards, and your needs as students. Companies and students were also involved in this review.
Of course, this process has led to various changes and improvements. These will be decided on 27 May by the THGA Senate – with the involvement of your student representatives.
The next step will follow in October, when an independent agency will assess our quality assurance system. If they approve, all planned changes can be implemented.
What does this mean for you?
- Some study programmes will have new names and updated content.
- New modules will be introduced.
- Current study plans may also be affected.
To ensure you’re well informed, there will be information sessions for each study programme. Please take part – this is where you’ll find out exactly what’s changing and how it may impact you.
