COLLABORATE 

Find out how you can develop international cooperation with THGA – from research projects and guest lectureships to staff mobility. We will introduce relevant opportunities through programmes such as Erasmus+ and selected DAAD funding schemes.

CAREER

Learn how international teaching, research and mobility experiences can support your academic development. Researchers and academics will share their personal perspectives on international exchange, professional networks and career pathways.

Athens meets Bochum: international exchange in practice

The webinar includes a special focus on the partnership between THGA and the University of West Attica (UNIWA) in Athens.

Representatives from both institutions will discuss their experiences of international cooperation and mobility. Researchers from THGA will also offer first-hand insights into academic life, living and working in Bochum.

The session is aimed at international:

  • researchers and postdoctoral researchers
  • academic staff and lecturers
  • professors
  • early-career academics interested in teaching, research or mobility opportunities in Germany

You do not need to have an existing connection with THGA to participate.

In this interactive session, you can:

  • learn about THGA and its research and teaching environment;
  • explore options for collaboration, teaching and staff mobility;
  • hear experiences from international academics and researchers;
  • ask general questions and share your own interests in international exchange.
