Smart Energy and Energy Efficiency

A safe, environmental-friendly and efficient supply of energy is a major request to the energy systems of tomorrow.  The most important thing is to match production, transport and consume - especially when the part of regenerative energy is increasing and more and more households are producing their own energy.

The basis for the research of Smart Energy is the development of the laboratories of Smart Building Systems at the TH. In these laboratories future systems of building technology are checked. These systems have to have an improved ability of increasing energy efficiently and connect Networks user-friendly.

The direct attention is laid on further increasing of efficiency from connecting of enlisted systems to consumer ship.

With the Project Smart Grids the TH investigates center frequency features of transformer isolation-material which are especially claimed in special intelligent networks.
The project Smart Heating is investigating a process of reduction of thermal heat consumption in rental housing.
